  • This week’s  focus will be on CERT PREP You are responsible for working on a chosen certificate even if you have finished the required 5 certificates.  If you receive more than 5 certs you will have additional opportunities to earn the PC we will build and give away.  The more certs the more likely you will be to win the PC.  
  • Please be sure to create a week 11 log and LOG YOUR PROGRESS EACH DAY!!

  • Continue with working on your Reverse Engineering project.
    • If you were gone yesterday click HERE to open the document that you will need to make a copy of for yourself so that you can work on this project this week and follow directions.
    • Please start where you left off yesterday. You many not DISSASEMBLE your toy until you have done Parts I & II.
    • When you are ready to disassemble get a sandwich bag from the guest teacher and write your name on it and get a paper plate. Please disassemble on the plate so that you do not loose parts. When class is over put your parts in your sandwich bag and give your bag, plate, and tools to the guest teacher.

Welcome Back - Please excuse Mrs. Moore

Today you need to class by adding a new page to our portfolio for the second quarter.

  • You will need to get your Chromebook and go to google sites and to your portfolio. Click HERE to see my example portfolio for help.
    • Then on the right side of your screen where it has the tabs for Insert, Pages, and Themes, click on the Pages and go to the bottom right and click on the + sign
    • name your new page Q2 Achievements and click done.
    • Click on Q2 Achievements and then add a text box or a collapsible group, which ever you choose and we are starting with week 11.
    • You will need to put dates Oct 23rd - Oct 27th
    • Put in your days of the week.
      • Today we are setting up portfolio for 2nd quarter and starting our reverse engineering project.
      • Thursday and Friday we have no school so you can put that in as well.

Now you are ready to start your Reverse Engineering project.

  • Click HERE to open the document that you will need to make a copy of for yourself so that you can work on the project this week.
  • Follow the directions highlighted in BLUE to work on the Visual Analysis today and possibly the Functional Analysis today as well.

Today we are going to start class by reviewing statistics info we learned yesterday and then do the following:

  • Complete the Statistics Practice and then add it to your portfolio
    • Click  HERE to go to the practice sheet and make a copy with your name on it so that you can do the assignment.
  • Make sure your portfolio has the following done:
    • Week 15 is set up with Mon - Fri with summaries of what you did in class yesterday and today.
      • Tuesday should have a link to your completed Statistics Practice Sheet that you fished

.

    • Week 14 is all done with your 1 sentence summaries for each day
      • Thursday should have your 3 components joined picture as an attachment
      • Friday should have your exploded view and Multiview drawing of the 3 components that were joined
